As I am sure many of our residents may be aware, due to Storm Babet, a severe warning of flood and threat of damage to property has been issued for areas of North and East Scotland, including Angus, Dundee and Perthshire. Caledonia is taking this very seriously as we have a number of properties and schemes in these affected areas.

This note is to provide advice to our tenants on what to do in case of a flood or emergency caused by the storm.

If residents are concerned about potential flooding they should contact their local council in the first instance. The local council is responsible for identifying measures to manage flood risk and will help residents where they can. In emergency situations, such as presented by Storm Babet, Councils will focus on areas most in need. Councils provide flood advice on their websites which includes the contact numbers of agencies who can help.
