The Caledonia Housing Association Group has published its Annual Assurance Statement for 2024.

Production of an Annual Assurance Statement is a key regulatory requirement for all Scottish social landlords. The Group values the opportunity this presents to re-affirm its commitment to being well managed and financially strong, while delivering good outcomes for tenants and customers.

Through the Statement the governing bodies within the Group confirm their view that the Group, and Caledonia and Cordale individually, is compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements; the Regulatory Standards of Governance and Financial Management; the relevant standards and outcomes of the Scottish Social Housing Charter; and all relevant legislative duties. The 2024 Statement provides specific detail on the management of risks in key areas relating to tenant and resident safety, and compliance with associated obligations. It also acknowledges the Group’s commitment to continuous improvement and the plan that will be progressed in the year ahead.

The Management Board of Caledonia and the Management Committee of Cordale reached their conclusions following a review of a wide range of evidence and information, and also specific scrutiny of performance and progress in the areas of tenant and resident safety, stock quality and housing development.

The Statement has been signed by Caledonia’s Chair on behalf of the Group and submitted to the Scottish Housing Regulator. We are now making it available to tenants and other service users and it can be found at the link below.
